one, two, three!

one. i survived the month of february, which has historically been a tough month for my brain. on 2/1/2004 i was diagnosed with ms. 2005 was relatively easy, but on 2/27/2006 i got very sick and spent the next few months recovering from serious vertigo and other imbalances. this year i was a little paranoid about it, but it's march and i'm still here and i don't think my brain is any worse off.

two. IT did not happen.

three. i have been wanting to publish a maple dictionary, to attempt to record all of her funny words before she gets so good at speaking and i don't remember how she said things now. (nice use of verb tenses, no?). so here is a partial list of the adorable ways in which our lovely daughter slaughters the english language.
  • "rindy" = raisin
  • "cookoo" = cookie
  • tonight she said "SALSA" but i guess that doesn't count
  • "shooshi" = sushi
  • "patzoo" = pretzel
  • "bey" = belly
  • "pasha" = portia
  • "shawna" = sauna
  • she can say "sean" and that is what she calls him
  • "peace" = please
  • "koan" = popcorn
  • "poot" = comPUTer
  • "shouw" = shower
  • "shiht" = shirt
  • "fuck" = sock (although sometimes she says "sock" too)
  • "gaga" = duck, rubber ducky
  • "tee" = tv, which she enjoys watching while eating
  • "hees" = hillary, her best friend
  • "naws" = nose
  • "ah-pot" = ipod
  • "fff" = scarf
  • "po" = "pillow"
  • "baba" = bottle
  • "dink" = drink
  • "key" = kitty
  • "gogoo" = yogurt
  • "bee" = peanut or almond butter
  • "owweee" = ouch
  • "saw-ee" = sorry
  • and here are some things she can say just fine: book, pen, baby, sleepy (or seepy or seepies), pants, shoes, arf, pig, toes, foot, eyes, hand, eat, YEAH!, nope, no, sit, bed, hat, mama, dada, rock, chip, coat, walk
I know there are a lot more so maybe I'll add to this list later. But the baby is seepies so we are going to watch tee now.
