Yesterday was our first day of apartment hunting. We saw a massive luxury complex in Waltham but it was super (wicked!) expensive and the commute would have been awful. Next we saw a small two-bedroom in Natick which was a great location but not really such a great apartment. Then we saw the third place, which we ended up renting. Here is a link to a few pictures, not sure how long that link will work though. Anyway it's a great-looking, renovated two-bedroom duplex with a huge fenced-in backyard, a short walk to the train into boston, a short commute to my job, and the coolest landlords/homeowners ever. We'll take more pictures when we get there, which won't be until 9/1.
Our stupid house still hasn't even been seen by anyone so I fear we'll never sell it. But now we have a couple of months to not pay rent so we should be okay...
We're in our super hotel accomodations, Maple is throwing magnets and eating them, we're watching DOG the bounty hunter, Sean is walking Phoenix, and everything is great. Tomorrow we're running errands, and this week we'll take day trips to Boston, Concord, and maybe Vermont.
