Maple has taken to saying "I can walk by myself because I'm wearing legos!" This means that she doesn't need to hold my hand in a parking lot or across the street because she is wearing "legos" (tight pants -- leggings), and therefore she is so grown up she doesn't need to hold my hand. She associates lego-wearing with adulthood. Sometimes she is crossing a street and she rips her hand out of mine and says, "BUT I'M WEARING LEGOS!"

Duh.
