While browsing around on the MoFo feed today, I learned a new French word: "fauxmage." This is so cool because it rhymes with the French word for cheese ("fromage" which is pronounced more like "fro-maj") but has "faux" in it which means fake. Fauxmage sounds so much better than fake cheese. Thanks Babette! It's so much fun to read MoFo posts in French.
I'm watching Cosmos while my two sweethearts lay unconscious next to me. I'm wiped out too. Tomorrow I am taking the day off and will attend Maple's "Fall Feast" at school. For some reason I am compelled to try to keep up with the stay-at-home-moms at Maple's school. I keep thinking I can't possibly be the only mom who works, but maybe I am. Last week there was an event at school and I couldn't go because I had an "important" meeting at work. Sean was also working. When I picked Maple up that evening, she cried bitterly because we weren't at school and "all the other parents were there." Oy.
One of the great things about living in the superoverpopulated Boston area is that you can buy whatever shit you want around here. So I think you should know about my favorite chocolate by Theo from Seattle. A number of their bars are vegan, and I think my favorite is the Mint bar. It's smooth and pretty creamy for dark chocolate, and the mint flavor doesn't taste like fake (faux) chewing gum mint, it tastes like real mint leaves. Go getcherself some, if you can! I'm looking at you, Kansas.
