Maple has been struggling lately. She's a wonderful kid, but her interactions with her classmates are strange and troubling at times. Maybe I'll write about it more at some point, by maybe not - Maple is already embarrassed about it and I'm not sure the internet needs to know.
In trying to get to the source of things, her teacher (who is amazing) has been reinforcing that she is loved.

I was thinking about you today and bam! new blog post! I must have sensed it! Sorry to hear Maple is struggling. Kids raw emotions are so extraordinary- fascinating when they are on the good side and heart wrenching when they are hurt. I hope these last few months of school wrap up nicely for her.
