Maybe it was pregnancy brain, I don't know. But when we got to the movie theatre today to see March of the Penguins, we found that it wasn't starting until tomorrow. Why the heck do they put the movie times in the paper on Thursday, when the new movies don't start until Friday? Apparently this is one of those "fine print" situations. So since we didn't want to see any of the other trash in the theatre, we drove the 15 miles back home and went out to eat at RAM, a newish Americana steakhouse kind of place just a few minutes from home.
Sean ordered a steak which looked really great, and I got a veggie burger with guacamole (Hillary says we are "little avocado people") and salsa. After all my practice at timing pooptractions (contractions which result in a trip to the bathroom instead of a long-awaited journey to motherhood), I was able to calculate that it took exactly 25 minutes for my Americana dinner to turn into an Americana round of diarrhea.
It seems that very pregnant women are especially prone to bouts of rapid bowel emptying. But we should at least know better than to eat expensive food!
